SEW, I MAKE BUTTONS... DIY!

 

 

 I finally figured out how to make my own buttons! Woot!!!

They're pretty cute, if I do say so myself! Well, go ahead, click, click, click! :D

*RARE* MOTTS FOR TOTS $.55 COUPON

     Last Friday I recieved a sample of Motts for Tots in the mail with a few coupons. I was pretty sure my sugar crazy kids would turn their noses up at it and demand the full sugar juices I use so sparingly. Well, I was shocked... all 4 of my girls liked loved it! I only had one little juice box to split between the four of them and let's just say there were tears involved when the juice ran out. Wow! All this time I've been adding water to my juice cups hoping they'll still drink it and that I'm diluting the sugar enough to be helpful. Sometimes they catch me adding bottled water to their cups and it turns into a sippy cup standoff. They absolutely will not drink it knowing there's water in there. But with Motts for Tots, it's already low in sugar so I can give it to them straight from the bottle and feel good about it. I also can say goodbye to our sippy cup standoffs.

     I know it's hard to find great buys on juice and that's sometime why I've settled for low price super sugary juice because it was more affordable. Well, no need to settle any longer! FREE HAND CRAFTED STERLING JEWELRY!!!

    I love mystery shopping! It's like James Bond meets Joan Rivers, but, well, quieter and nicer. This weekend I had a second opportunity to shop at a local high end jewelry store. I was compensated for my time and reimbursed for my purchase! Bonus - I got to keep the jewelry! This is the second time I've done a mystery shop at this jewelry store and I'm lovin' it!!! I've earned almost $100 in jewelry from working with National Shopping Service. One of the best parts of being a mystery shopper is having the ability to decide which jobs you take. You don't have to do anything uncomfortable and you are helping to improve their customer service by providing feedback they are requesting and interested in receiving!

L'Oreal True Match $1.54 @ CVS!

L'Oreal True Match is $10.99 at CVS, but I got it for $1.54 today!!! Here's how I did it:

1. I used the $2/1 L'Oreal Paris Face Product, exp. 9/18/11 (RP 07/24/11)
2. Scanned my Extra Care card at the Kiosk for a $3 off $10 Cosmetic Purchase CVS printout
3. Used a 25% off CVS Shopping pass I received in the mail
4. And used $2 in Extra Care bucks I received when I bought 2 Gallons of milk minutes earlier

The 25% off sales pass expired Sunday, so you won't be able to get it for $1.54 if you didn't get it today. But L'Oreal's True Match Foundation at $4 is still 60% off the normal $10.99 price at CVS!

HOT PINK & CHOCOLATE!

This blog is about the two biggest parts of my life - hot pink (I have 4 girls), and chocolate (code name for any type of sanity saver). I'm a veteran red-headed mommy of four red-headed girls. The five of us girls are known as "The Redhots" locally. We call my oldest Tooter, guess why. Then there's Princess Supa-fly (my in-home fashion consultant), Pee Pie, and Shorty. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with... an indoor tornado to be exact. And then there's my husband, dear sweet Husker Muffin (he loves the Nebraska Huskers).
