COUPONING IN 2012

There are going to be some new roadblocks to couponers in 2012. Some of them we've already seen as manufacturer's have put limits on their coupons. We also see a trend in stores providing store credit as purchasing incentive instead of less cash out of your pocket up front.

WEEKLY DEAL REVIEW - TARGET, WALMART, KOHL'S, ACADEMY, JC PENNY...

There are a lot of deals this week. So many that I actually had to cut my column short! So, I'm posting the full listing of deals I found noteable here. Next week I'll only post a partial listing, and you'll need to click through to the AJ to read the full listing.

I wanted to make note of something that I haven't mentioned before. If you are using CVS's Spend $30, Get a $10 Gift Card promotion, be aware that the balance will return to zero on Sunday mornings, so don't forget to finalize all your purchases before then. And, you can only get 5 Gift Cards per week.

I also found out from a CVS manager today that the buy 6, get the 7th Free diaper promotion only applies to the exact same KIND of diaper. If you purchase Cruisers one week and Easy-Ups the next, whatever you purchased first is what the system is counting. :( So, it's up to you as the user to keep track of what kind of diapers you buy and only buy that style in order to take advantage of the promotion. ...bummer, I know...
